PC controlled IO device. Doing my first experiments with the PIC18F4550.

Did a pcb design for a simple control unit with an lcd display.

Running a simulation of a simple lcd driver and voltage meter. The driver was written for the PIC18F26K80 controller, using PASM.

Received custom pcb boards for three projects. First time having pcbs made from my designs.

Custom high voltage MOSFET transistor driver. Did the pcb design and component soldering.

Duty cycle generator with 555 timer IC. Did the pcb design and component soldering. Testing the circuit.

Assembled the control unit with the lcd display in a nice box.

Trying out a simple process to etch printed circuit boards. The process uses photo sensitive film to mask of areas, which inturn will be chemically processed.

First successful masking test. It was quite tricky to get the exposure and development of the photosensitive film right.
